Biography

Hi, My name Çınar.

The birth of my daughter marked a turning point in my life. I decided to step away from my career in software development, realizing that the office environment was not for me, and follow my long-held passion for colors. In 2021, I embarked on my watercolor journey with the Van Gogh Watercolor Basic series, and since then, painting has become the center of my life.

The photos I choose for inspiration must evoke a sense of lived experience and deep emotion. Each painting is meant to take the viewer on an emotional journey. I’m also open to experimenting with different techniques, exploring my creativity through materials like salt, gouache, and pastels.

Since moving to Canada, I’ve been approaching art with a greater sense of freedom and boldness, as I truly feel that art is valued here.

Today, I aim to connect with fellow art lovers by sharing my watercolor paintings through a blog and portfolio. I hope each of my pieces tells a story and evokes different emotions in its viewers.
